Medium format color photograph of the end of a truck cargo trailer. The trailer is green and has a significant amount of rust. To the left is a yellow warning label that reads: radioactive. The photo has a great deal of shadow and vignetting at the corners.

About the photo: Radioactive was taken while on a late morning photo excursion with Billie while we were attending the Conference on College Composition and Communication in Louisville, KY. Because it was also Holga Hike Day, I was using my Holga. I also had my Diana F+ with me, and since I hadn't brought my Panasonic Lumix with me to Louisville, I had a grand total of 24 shots to take that day (12 shots on each roll of medium format film). The last time we went on a photo excursion we came across an abandoned school bus in a parking lot. This time, a green truck trailer. I took three photos of the trailer; two from across the parking lot and this one.
