About the Photo
I took this image earlier this summer as I was driving through the small country town where I went to high school. I saw horses and since they make interesting images, I stopped. As I took photos of this particular horse, I began to look at his body and face. There was such beauty there, such intricacy. I noted his whiskers, as I'd never noticed that horses even had whiskers before. I was fascinated by them. I have a little fear of horses, as they are so big, but this one was gentle and let me pet him. What does this have to do with a Thanksgiving theme? I am very thankful for my ability to see value in what is typically ignored.
