Bird in Flight

Color photograph of a barn, house, and produce stand at sunrise. Starting in the middle of the image and moving right, a bird in flight arcs across the sky. There are 12 instances of the bird and it is the same bird, as the image is a composite. The moon sets to the right through the trees. It glows so yellow it looks like the sun.

About the Photo
This photograph is a composite of 12 images recorded in burst mode just before 7:00am as the sun rose on a crisp winter morning. I had been out taking pictures of the full moon setting over the barn when this single bird flew across the landscape. I quickly held the button down and, to be honest, didn't think much it as I continued to take more photos. Only after getting home and looking at the photos (with my sister, actually) did I decide to try to make one composite image.
